In November 2020, we hosted a render contest to raise awareness for men’s health and the Movember Foundation because this issue is too important to ignore.
Let’s look at the facts.
- On average, men are dying six years earlier than women.
- Rates of male-specific cancers are on the rise.
- 75% of all suicides are males.
The Movember Foundation is tackling the men’s health crisis, both physical and mental, head-on. They not only raise awareness and fund projects to accelerate change during the month of November, but their reach expands year-round and all over the world. Their ultimate goal is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25% by the year 2030.
You Funded Awareness and Change
We asked you to create Movember-inspired renders and provided a Mustache Freebie to get you started, as well as the Stache Picks Bundle that features awesome male characters, facial hair, and more. We dedicated 50% of proceeds from the Stache Picks Bundle to the Movember Foundation, and wow, did you deliver.
When we saw all the renders you submitted, we were blown away. Not only are you all talented and dedicated to your craft, but we also saw how committed you were to this worthy cause. Thanks to you and your participation, we were able to donate over $5,000 to the foundation. Thank you for caring, and thank you for helping us raise awareness. We hope to continue highlighting worthy causes and providing a fun way for each of you to join us.

If you want to see another cause to support, check out our post for the International Women’s Day Render Contest and how we’re donating a portion of proceeds to Catalyst, an International Women’s Day supported organization. It runs until March 31, 2021, so submit your render before it ends!
