Introducing Daz AI Studio

We’re thrilled to introduce Daz AI Studio, a powerful image generator made possible through our partnership with Stability AI. With the ability to select products to layer in as fixed elements in your imagery, we are excited to provide a new level of control to image generator users.

About Daz AI Studio:

The AI Image Generator is a creative tool that transforms text into compelling 2D visuals in the style of Daz’s renders. With a user-friendly interface and built-in prompt assist for model refinement, it’s an ideal solution for quickly creating, telling stories, and seeking inspiration. Many creators and digital artists have been understandably wary of generative AI as it has real potential to negatively affect them. We get that, and we’re committed to finding ways for generative AI to be a positive for artists. Daz has always been about making digital art more welcoming. We’re working directly with Daz Artists as our partners, and we’re working on unique ways to continue providing benefits for our artistic community. We are excited about the next phase – where we’re going to be offering this solution for the hundreds of Daz Published Artists as a way for them to monetize their work.

We are excited to highlight some notable features including customizable presets, inpainting, upscaling, image-to-image, and more.

Layered Products:

It gives you the ability to select environments, characters, lighting, and more as predetermined elements in your creations. This gives you quick, predictable iterations granting you even greater control over your generated images. Our Published Artists will be creating these Layered Products, currently Victoria 9 and Michael 9 are available for use.

Inpainting:

Allows you to pick a specific area for modification and direct the Generator to recreate the selected part of the image, while leaving the rest of the image unchanged – for example, adding a cat, fixing misshapen body parts, and so on.

Upscaling:

Easily change the resolution of the image without losing quality.

Image to Image:

Upload any image for the Generator to use as a reference point.

Saved User History:
Create art at your own pace. It’ll be there when you are ready to come back to it.

Seed Control:
Altering the original seed number of an image empowers you to guide the generator in producing iterations based on the initial image, resulting in subtle variations

Prompt Strictness:
Turn your ordinary input into new content allowing AI to take more creative control

Multi-Image Generation:
Generate multiple unique images in a single request

Getting Started:

  • Great start, I just hope the final plan is to implement this in daz3D.
So we can build scenes faster with our 3D figures from prompt and the improve the render quality. Right now I’m using SD for that, but this would be great if it was in the actual program.

  • Andy Willow says:

I’m done spending money at Daz3D. You lost me with this.
I’ll get my goods from Renderosity from now on.

  • Had it been possible to create 3d characters it would have been worth something. 2D Characters are simply pictures not worth the expense.

  • I was really looking forward to the 3D asset generation with AI that was talked about a while back. This is just another variation of many image generation tools out there, a nice one, yes, but the problems that come with trying to use images commercially are still present, some of the publishers in the RPG industry flat out refuse to allow generative AI to be used. What does this tool do to address the criticisms against generative AI (which I personally find to be a fantastic tool and one I hope becomes widely accepted soon)? I know that Adobe firefly is only generating images off of their own content and Getty does the same thing, and both are able to be used for commercial use – has DAZ AI Studio done anything similar? Can these images be used commercially?

    • We’ve done something similar! Our AI model is trained on Daz Original art only, so our Published Artists who made the source art have been compensated accordingly. We are also working with them directly to create more advancements
